Technical leadership and research
At On Page® I work on technical decisions for the product and on testing new ideas. On my GitHub profile I describe my research and development work under the title Head of R&D.
For me, leading a team also means explaining why a decision was made. I care about sharing context, making trade-offs clear, and giving other people's expertise room to shape the work. I prefer solutions the team can understand and change over time.
Software agents and MCP integrations
I design software agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, and integrations that let AI use the data and capabilities of existing software. I also work on workflow orchestration and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation). I still enjoy writing code and remain hands-on with software development.
A workflow follows designed paths; an agent can choose its next steps within defined boundaries. RAG retrieves relevant knowledge to provide context for a model.
Skills and education
My stack includes React, Next.js, and TypeScript on the frontend; Node.js, Laravel, and Symfony on the backend; and Docker, AWS, and Linux for infrastructure. I'm interested in Clean Architecture, modular design, and the principles of domain-driven design.
In 2023 I attended Avanscoperta's Effective Management Workshop, adding management training to my technical background.
Public projects
LogService is a TypeScript library with configurable logging strategies and providers. Pi System Monitor brings together tools for monitoring Raspberry Pi, including metrics, notifications, and container management.
Publications
On I published an article about integrating AI, MCP, and PIM on the On Page® blog, in Italian. It covers reading and updating product data, descriptions, translations, Excel input and missing information, with user permissions and confirmation for sensitive operations.
